Almost a century ago, neighbors organized a Presbyterian church to be a part of a new street-car community taking shape on the outskirts of Charlotte...

The neighborhood was what is now Elizabeth and the church is Caldwell Memorial Presbyterian Church. As Elizabeth again recreates itself, Caldwell is undergoing its own rebirth with many new members, a warm and inviting worship experience, and a passion for service.

Located on East Fifth Street, next to Elizabeth Traditional Elementary School and near Presbyterian Hospital, Caldwell is situated in the heart of a neighborhood that combines beautiful streets, historic homes, established businesses with emerging new retail and residential development. Having almost closed its doors due to the loss of a generation of long-time members, the church is now expanding its offerings and welcomes new visitors almost every Sunday.

God is doing "a new thing" in Elizabeth at a church with a rich history and exciting future. All are invited to be a part of it.
